Throughout my career I've attributed any success I’ve had to the power of the team; that “all of us are smarter than one of us,” and that if you can put the right team together - you can achieve ANY goal.

My reputation for facing the toughest challenges, building the right team to address those challenges, and a passion for driving results has benefited from my involvement with organizations worldwide. For the past 20 years I’ve held C-level positions in engineering & construction (industrial facilities), manufacturing (shipbuilding), and energy (power plant operations and development).

My work has been challenging and enriching - I've led EPC teams executing complex projects in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil; an international management team that took a fledgling shipyard from launching one ocean going vessel in three years to launching three vessels in one year; and I was the leader of the team that conceptualized and performed the early development for one of the largest coal-to-natural gas power conversion projects in the United States.

I have experienced the trial-by-fire that most CEOs go through, no matter what the specific business. It is this hands-on understanding of the risks, challenges, and opportunities facing both seasoned and emerging CEOs that affords me the opportunity to help leaders become more effective and, in doing so, enhance their lives.

I'm now an Executive Coach and Peer Advisory Group Chair, in affiliation with Vistage Worldwide. Vistage is a global organization that assembles private advisory boards for CEOs, senior executives and business owners, and offers resources for leaders to break down their challenges and find partners for issue processing.

 

Now a little about me personally... My wife, Marilyn, and I met at Penn State, and now live where it all began - in State College, PA. We have 12 grandchildren that we love spending time with. But, in my spare time, I’m a terrible golfer, a much better fly fisherman and love to be out in the beautiful Central PA countryside.
